Michael Brickman is a Policy Director at the Cicero Institute, with experience spanning the White House, U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Labor, and a governor’s office. He has also worked at policy think tanks and served as an advisor to investors and venture-backed companies. His research focuses on expanding opportunity, supporting American workers and students, modernizing outdated systems, and reducing regulatory barriers to innovation.

His recent work explores how emerging technologies, especially AI, can improve government performance and create pathways for individuals to get a better education and demonstrate their skills.
