Stefani Buhajla

Stefani E. Buhajla is the Senior Director of Communications at the Cicero Institute. She leads the organization’s policy communications strategy, overseeing media relations, brand development, and the integration of research and messaging across Cicero’s policy portfolio—including homelessness, healthcare, AI, and regulatory reform.

With more than 15 years of experience in public policy and political communications, Stefani has advised governors, members of Congress, and state legislative leaders on narrative strategy, crisis response, and campaign execution.

A trained pollster who has authored and analyzed hundreds of opinion surveys, she brings a data-driven lens to every message—ensuring rapid, credible responses that resonate with the public. As one of the very few female pollsters in the conservative movement, she blends instinct and insight in a way that sets her apart in the field.

Stefani has co-founded mission-driven organizations and built communications teams that deliver impact at scale. She is known for turning complex policy into compelling stories that drive what’s possible—and for helping leaders win the argument with audiences that matter most. She attributes her grit to her single dad, who taught her to chase down truth, even in dark places.
