Bryan Sunderland serves as President of the Cicero Institute, leading efforts to advance innovative public policy reforms that improve government accountability, expand opportunity, and deliver meaningful results for Americans. With more than 25 years of experience in public policy and government affairs, Bryan has built a career challenging the status quo and turning bold ideas into legislative victories.
Before joining Cicero, Bryan served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kentucky, Senior Policy Director for the Kentucky Senate, and Senior Vice President of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, where he spent a decade advocating for policies that strengthen the business climate and promote economic growth. In the Governor’s Office, he helped secure passage of 91 of the administration’s top 100 legislative priorities in a single session.
Under Bryan’s leadership, Cicero has significantly expanded its national influence, advancing hundreds of legislative proposals across dozens of states and securing major policy victories. He continues to focus on challenging entrenched interests, advancing practical reforms, and delivering measurable results that improve Americans’ lives.
