Research Assistant

Prerita Govil is a Research Assistant at the Cicero Institute, where she focuses on education and public safety policy. Prerita recently graduated from American University, where she earned her BA in Political Science with a specialization in Political Theory. She has held fellowships in the past with the Hudson Institute Political Studies, the Hertog Foundation, the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions, and the Witherspoon Institute, all experiences which have allowed her to develop a deep commitment to the pursuit and preservation of liberal education. Her interests include the history of political thought, especially Ancient Greek and Indian thought, as well as the intersection of theory and practice through education policy and pedagogical considerations of virtue.
