Elena is engaging a broad network of aligned individuals and organizations nationally to educate and motivate them to take action in the Cicero Institute’s policy areas. Working with our network gives her a chance to see the work Cicero does and the way policy changes lives every day. She enjoys building partnerships and seeing people get more engaged at the local and state level to create change in their communities.
At MIT, Elena studied business analytics and urban planning with a focus on how planners and policymakers can expand civic engagement a stronger civil society. After previously building and supporting a student network, she now takes that expertise to the Cicero Institute.
Elena grew up in the eastern United States and now lives in Austin, Texas. She enjoys kayaking and cross-country skiing.
