ABOUT US

The Cicero Institute seeks a creative and strategic Engagement Content Creator to join our engagement team and play a vital role in expanding the Cicero brand and growing the Cicero Network. This role will focus on developing high-quality, compelling content across multiple platforms—including email, social media, website, print collateral, and more—to strengthen audience engagement and amplify our impact.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and storyteller who understands how to craft persuasive, shareable content that resonates with diverse audiences. This person should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable juggling multiple projects, and have a passion for free-market policy solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Engagement Content Creator will:

• Develop and execute a content strategy that supports engagement team initiatives and brand growth.
• Create and manage engaging content for emails, social media, newsletters, blog posts, print materials, and other digital assets.
• Manage engagement-focused social media storytelling efforts, including writing posts, crafting compelling visual content, and responding to engagement trends.
• Produce compelling email campaigns that drive membership growth and engagement.
• Analyze content performance to refine strategy and maximize reach and impact.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all engagement channels.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex policy issues.
• Excellent ability to write persuasively for a variety of audiences and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and engagement strategies.
• Exceptional editing and proofreading skills, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative, proactive mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and test innovative engagement strategies.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, journalism, political communications, or digital strategy.
• A portfolio of work showcasing strong writing, audience engagement, and content strategy skills.
• Experience in social media management, email marketing, or digital advocacy.
• Familiarity with public policy, government affairs, and political advocacy is a plus.
• A passion for free-market principles and a desire to contribute to impactful policy solutions.
