Joshua Rooney is a second year law student at Stanford Law School. He most recently worked as an analyst for Trust Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies with a public policy nexus. Before law school, Joshua worked as a financial analyst in fintech, innovation, and data policy at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Joshua is also a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and deployed with a Special Operations Command Joint Task Force in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He completed his undergrad at Claremont McKenna College, where he double majored in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) and Russian. Joshua supports Cicero's work to offer innovative regulatory frameworks and promote financial accountability in government.
