Jakob Dupuis

Public Safety Policy Analyst

Jakob Dupuis is the Public Safety Policy Analyst at the Cicero Institute. He has a B.A. in English with a historical focus and an International Relations Certificate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is also an alumnus of the 2022 class of Cicero Summer Policy Fellows. While studying at the Commonwealth Honors College, Jakob focused his extracurriculars on history and political science and interned for a digital magazine writing investigative journalism. During his senior year, he maintained several policy research contracts, researching and drafting policy proposals, impact analyses, and several model bills for the Cicero Institute and the State Policy Network. His work experience, from aerospace electroplating to logistics, lends a unique problem-solving skillset perfectly aligned with the Cicero Institute’s bottom-up policy approach. Jakob's work has been featured in City Journal and the Washington Examiner.
